The Noosa International 7's Festival is a two day, outdoor sporting festival involving a Queensland Rugby Union sanctioned and Federation of Oceania Rugby Union (FORU) and Australian Rugby Union supported, elite seven-a-side rugby union tournament involving up to forty (40) teams comprising four divisions (Stan Bissett Cup [men]; Vince Beakey Cup [women]; and schools competition [boys and girls]) for both men and women, with supporting entertainment, and food and beverage facilities hosted at the Noosa District Rugby Union Club Inc's home ground at Bicentennial Drive, Sunshine Beach on the second weekend in October.
Arguably one of the premier Sevens-rugby tournaments in the Southern Hemisphere, the Noosa International Sevens Festival is perfectly positioned to become an important part of an Australian Sevens rugby circuit, and a must-see Sunny-Coast outdoor rugby-entertainment event.
