Make the Millstream Homestead Visitors Centre your first stop for an introduction to the Yinjibarndi people, early settler history and the unique natural environment before embarking on your own Millstream adventure. Take a cooling dip at pretty Python Pool and Chinderwarriner Pool. Hit one of the park's five walking trails to explore the rolling spinifex hills, striking escarpments, winding watercourses and wildlife rich wetlands or climb the peak of Mount Herbert. Admire the plethora of Pilbara wildflowers that bloom after winter rains. Or, just sit and enjoy the striking reflections of the gorges in the rock pools and listen to the echoes of a variety of bird song. The palms and paperbark trees that line Crossing Pool and Deep Pool provide shady picnic and picturesque camping areas.
