Kiama will host its 1st Kiama Artisan Food Festival on 11th & 12th August 2018 and its 171st Annual Kiama Show the last weekend in January 2019 both at the Kiama Showground right beside Kiama's Surf Beach. It’s one of the most picturesque showgrounds in Australia. The inaugural Kiama Artisan Food Festival will bring together workshop, food stalls and entertainment with food and wine sourced from local producers. The Kiama Show is the major event of the year that brings together business, agriculture and the community and its tradition includes cattle, horses, showjumping, and woodchopping events, the Kiama Showgirl competition, pet show, a wonderful array of 2000+ pavilion exhibits and gardening and cooking demonstrations.
