Pinnaroo Cabins are an accommodation facility aimed at the budget conscious traveller or worker. Choose from a cabin with one queen size bed or a cabin with two single beds. Located between the BP On the Run and Mogas Roadhouses, the cabins are easily accessed from the Mallee, but are situated back from the road, away from the traffic noise. Pinnaroo Cabins provide the ideal accommodation for four-wheel drivers, motorcyclists, hikers and bird watching enthusiasts visiting Billiatt, Peebinga, Karte, Ngarkat, Scorpion Springs, and Big Desert Parks or travelling the Border Track. With 24-hour check in, exhausted travellers can get a bed and shower at any time. We are only a short walk to the town centre and off road parking is available for cars, trucks, trailers and buses. Enquire about our special rate for stays of four nights or more. Please note that unless otherwise stated, Pinnaroo Cabins has an AUD25.00 non-refundable deposit taken upon booking. This will be deducted from the cost of the cabin upon arrival. Should the accommodation be cancelled under 48 hours of anticipated arrival full charge will apply....

The Mallee Tourist and Heritage Centre contains a number of different exhibits and displays which tell the stories of the Mallee. Visitors can explore the Gum Family collection of restored tractors, stationary engines, farm and household memorabilia and the Printing Museum which displays presses, equipment and letterpress type. The DA Wurfel Grain Collection exhibits different varieties of grain and there are also displays honouring the pioneer women of the district. The South Australia Dry project depicts the district's settlement and development through dioramas and interpretive panels and the Mallee Panorama of landscape scenes shows the different faces of the Mallee....
