The Jamieson Museum, housed in the old Jamieson Courthouse, is maintained by the Jamieson & District Historical Society and is open on weekends between Melbourne Cup weekend and Easter. Jamieson is a quaint, historic town in the Victorian High Country. It was well known in the late 1800's for gold mining and had many bars, bakeries and even two breweries with a lively community.
