Tranquilles offers quality bed and breakfast accommodation in the seaside town of Port Sorell, in Tasmania's North. The Provence Suite has a spa bath and king size bed, the other two rooms (Iris and Shearwater) have queen size beds. The Iris Suite has a spa. Why not dine in at the licensed restaurant on the premises whilst enjoying your stay. The restaurant is open to the public on Friday and Saturday evenings from 1800. Bookings are recommended. There is a Conservatory where guests can sit and relax, read, listen to music or watch television. Tranquilles also offers cooking classes by a series of experienced chefs from Tasmania and elsewhere, who will show you how to create great foodie experiences from the wide range of fresh produce, meats, seafood, and wines available in Tasmania. Tranquilles has a commercial kitchen which has recently been expanded to provide enough space and facilities to run the cooking classes, and cater for functions, such as weddings, parties and seminars.
