Items include unique jewellery and accessories, art, photography, homewares, vintage clothing, children's items, papercraft and more. With 100 percent of the sales paid directly back to the designer and no commission taken, Under The Oak is supporting Tasmanian talent in art, craft and design through this unique business concept. Each designer rents a space in the store, receiving back their entire sales at the end of every month. Many items are a 'one off' creation, all handmade from designers around the state. Treat yourself to some retail therapy whilst shopping for Tasmanian handmade products in a roomy relaxed atmosphere. Pedal Buggies Tasmania is located in Ulverstone on Tasmania's beautiful North West Coast. Operating from The Beach Hut - (a relaxed beachside kiosk incorporating a small art gallery featuring Tasmanian scenery), pedal buggies offer a fun outdoor activity suitable for all ages six months to 99 years. You will enjoy some of Ulverstone's lovely parks as you pedal along the pedestrian/cycle path. You can even choose to hire a Surrey Bike for the trip to nearby Turners Beach using the shared pedestrian cycle way. Pedal Buggies are also suitable for many people with disabilities or special needs. A trailer suitable to take a wheel chair is also available for our family buggy. Sit and have a scoop ice cream as you watch your littlies (up to six years of age) have fun on the mini buggy track complete with road signs and round-a-bout. "Allison", home of the Ulverstone Golf Club Inc., is an 18-hole 6104 metre long Par 72 Championship Golf Course with many trees and a varied and challenging layout. Rated in the top 100 courses in Australia, the Club has hosted both state and national competitions. Nestled into the surrounding tall eucalypt forest, the course is renowned for its well-maintained, fully watered fairways and excellent greens. One of the most picturesque sporting venues in the state, it is a challenging golf course, with plenty of trees and undulating fairways to provide an unyielding test of the golfer's ability. Open daily, visiting members of other golf clubs are always welcome. Green fees apply and golf clubs are available for hire.
