The 85km cruise begins in the beautiful Noosa River and continues beyond the Lake Cooroibah and Cootharaba to the unspoilt Everglades. We visit Kinaba, the gateway to Cooloola National Park. Built in the water, boardwalks surround this unique information centre. There is time to explore the wetlands and view the displays before we enter the everglades. The River of Mirrors, with tranquil, unspoilt dark water. Cruise slowly through the unsurpassed reflections. Photograph and enjoy the beauty of this wondrous area. At Harry\'s Hut we\'ll enjoy a delicious home-made barbecue lunch cooked by your skipper while you explore, swim or just relax with a complimentary glass of wine. We have a beautiful covered picnic area right by this relic of the timbercutting days. After lunch we retrace our steps to have you home around 3pm. Departure times take advantage of the nicest part of the day. Specially designed boats provide fast, comfortable, all-weather cruising to spend more time in the everglades than getting there. Windows all round for best viewing (can be open or closed). Comfortable padded seats. Barbecue lunch - your choice of steak or fish, includes sausages and home-made salads with fruit and complimentary wine. Real tableware and cutlery used (not disposable). Refreshments throughout cruise including morning and afternoon tea. Amenities at all stops (Kinaba, Harry\'s Hut). The scenic waterways of the upper Noosa River and its tributaries are one of the Great Sandy National Park's, Cooloola section most outstanding features. Tannins washed from decaying plant matter stain the waters a very dark colour, almost black in deeper sections, offering spectacular reflections of the twisted paperbarks and bloodwoods that line the waterways' banks. The Kinaba track takes you through regrowth forests, paperbark swamps and cabbage palm wetland. The vegetation changes from open forest to areas dominated by melaleucas and swamp banksias. As you enter a section of casuarinas with ground cover of mangrove ferns, look to the left for a surveyor's blaze on a dead tree. The Government arrow and the numbers "239" are still clearly visible. Upon reaching the Kinaba Information Centre, visit the displays or take the self-guided boardwalk through the mangroves.

Distinctively-shaped Mount Tinbeerwah (265 metres) stands out in the Tewantin National Park, which protects ancient flooded gum forests, wallum heaths and cabbage-tree palms. It also offers great views to the popular Noosa coast and lakes. Wooroi day-use area, set among she-oaks and bloodwoods, has picnic tables, barbecues and drinking water. (The butcherbirds and noisy miners are cheeky but please don't feed them). Walk along Wooroi Creek track and cool Palm Grove track. Head towards Cooroy and stop at Mount Tinbeerwah lookout. A 500 metre track leads to a lookout with 360 degree views over the Noosa River system, lakes and surrounding forests. About 130 metres along the walk, a lookout with coastal views is suitable for assisted wheelchair access.

Noosa National Park, a chunk of wild coastline jutting into the ocean, is understandably one of Australia's most visited parks. Wallum heaths, woodlands and pockets of rainforest with hoop and kauri pine are important refuges for wildlife, including koalas and rare glossy black-cockatoos. Explore the picturesque Noosa Headland along a selection of five tracks, ranging from one kilometre to eight kilometres and catering to all fitness levels. Walk past rocky shorelines and spiky pandanus, through woodlands and rainforests with piccabeen palms, to wide beaches or lofty lookouts. In the Peregian section, stroll to the ocean beach. In the Emu Mountain section, on your way to the summit, discover wildflowers. In the East Weyba section, along unmarked vehicle trails, watch for birds - but keep to the trails at all times.

Jew Shoal is a large reef complex of ridges, canyons, bommies, and a solitary 11 metre pinnacle. The Caves has rugged rocky outcrops and swimthroughs; the gutters are covered in colourful hard and soft corals, and reef fish including angelfish, butterflyfish, surgeonfish, globefish, rabbitfish, soapfish, morwong, sweetlip and bream. The coral gardens has an array of invertebrates - sea stars, feather stars, shrimps, hermit crabs, urchins, brittle stars, cowries and over 100 varieties of nudibranchs.
