The Alfred Hotel is a classic Sydney watering hole. With a late night license and an inexpensive bistro, the pub is popular with students from nearby Sydney University, nurses from the RPA hospital and Camperdown locals. The pub was built in 1939 and is often referred to as the “Grose Farm Hotel”, its former name.

The unique horseshoe-shaped bar and art deco features give the pub its warm and friendly character. The popular bistro serves $7 steaks and burgers, with patrons able to enjoy their meals in a large and attractive courtyard, filled with striped banquette seats and fenced with bamboo.

Located in the heart of Camperdown The Hampshire Hotel offers a fantastic mix of a original old fashioned Sydney bar built in the 1920’s together with a venue designed for the ever building urban jungle.

The bar has been a favourite for locals over the years with 3 generations sitting in the original front bar enjoy a refreshing cold beer or relaxing in the large outdoor courtyard.

The venue is set up with 3 large screens inside and a 4 meter super screen in the courtyard to offer the latest in sporting events from Australia and around the globe.
